You need to know that on your wedding day my heart will be FULL and that I will be overjoyed to be there for you both. These days are rare and beautiful, and need to be cherished.
This ceremony was designed with such intention by J&L, and I savoured every detail: lakeside where the bride grew up, colourful dress code (I got the memo!), music all the way from Nova Scotia (swoon), curated second hand dishes, tables named after their favourite places, and BRUNCH because who doesn’t love brunch?
They sent me a note that said, “You are truly someone we hold near and dear to our hearts for the rest of our lives. We are so incredibly grateful. Thank you for all you do and for the intention you bring to every couple.” That catches in my throat every time I read it.
You will wish that your day would never end. Thankful for talented photographers like @whimandwillowphoto for capturing all the emotions. Lots of love to you @wwww.jordyn.conn had forgotten just how tall you both are until I looked at this photos - hahaha! Xo

Can we talk about Provincial Parks for a minute? I have done a number of elopements in our beautiful parks, but also, I have not done nearly enough.
What I genuinely love about our parks is that they exist for the purpose of sharing our incredible geography, enjoying life’s simple pleasures and making memories. They are there to make memories, and is that not what ceremonies are for? I have loved discovering so many parks, with thanks to wonderful couples. This was C&A’s elopement last fall at Silent Lake PP, near Bancroft. Imagine, lakeside, peaceful, and yes, that’s their dog. A fabulous day I shared with @stellamittonphotos.
There are parks that are still on my wish list. If you are thinking of eloping, and you love any of these parks - please reach out: Bon Echo, French River, Killarney, Killbear…all the water falls…I could go on! Xo

You CAN have it both ways! S+D wanted the intimacy of an elopement, and the celebration of a wedding with family; so that’s exactly what they did. Their winter lakeside elopement was romantic and beautiful; followed by dinner at the restaurant where they had their first date (I know!). And last weekend, I got to marry them again, surrounded by their children and grandchildren. A weekend spending time with together, relaxing @bonnieviewinnresort and celebrating. What could be better? If you can’t decide between an elopement and a wedding with guests - know that you don’t have to. Xo Thank you @susanbrayshawcullum for trusting me, and to @jessleephoto and @daniellemeredithphoto for their talent xo
PSA for the floral artistry created for weddings. LOOK AT THAT LAPEL. As someone who struggles arranging Costco tulips in a vase; I am continually astounded by the beauty my floral designer friends bring to your day. Honestly, can’t wait to see what this year holds. Thank you to @ehcanehdian and @brandtaylo for trusting me with your ceremony @centurybarnweddings xo
ONE WEEK until wedding season 2026 officially opens! I can’t wait to have more moments like this one - joyful! @alyshaatkinson1 xo
A friendly reminder to have the wedding experience of your dreams, and that for some couples that means just the two of you. Imagine a gorgeous PEC country house all to yourselves, a ceremony as the sun sets, followed by a dinner that exceeds your epicurean imaginations. Every minute of the experience shared between the two of you. I love being part of these moments, and can provide witnesses when you genuinely want the day to exist for the two of you alone. This day lives rent free in my memory - it was magical. Beautifully captured by @amybuckphoto at @thewilfridboutiquefarmhouse with my warmest thanks to @magpierodrigues and @becsdrolett for trusting me to be there for you both xo
It might rain on your wedding day. Do yourself a favour and do not let it dim any of your joy. There are always going to be things in life we can’t control, and the best thing you can do is make peace with that. A&K were so smitten and happy, I don’t even think they noticed the weather! This was a beautiful day, captured by the very talented @jennamaeturner . Thank you @amyleblond for trusting me with your ceremony xo
This elopement on Manitoulin Island, perched high overlooking the lake, is one that I will carry with me. Infused with First Nations traditions including a blanket ceremony, and held by a fire started with sage - it was beautiful and sacred. That I am trusted to lead these moments is such a privilege. Know that I am happy to travel anywhere in Ontario to be there for you. If you’ve never been to Manitoulin Island, get there if you can - it’s something special. Xo
Dogs at weddings will always be joyful. Dogs are happy when you walk into the room…can you even imagine how happy they are to see you and everyone you love at your wedding? If you aren’t sure how to care for them on your big day, there are people who would love to help you out. I can recommend @royalpawspetservices and can assure you, your fur babies are going to have a great times xo
To be honest, this was a ceremony I manifested - it’s precisely the energy I am drawn to. Imagine New Year’s Eve by a frozen lake, everyone excitedly dressed in black and white for the occasion, disco balls casually placed throughout @bonnieviewinnresort and you will know why I was beyond excited to be there for M&J. Did I mention the fireworks as they made their way back down the aisle? To share in these moments, and for couples to say the loveliest things about the experience, is genuinely a dream for someone like me. Thank you @marleegadway for trusting me, @kaylagardiner for the attention to detail @bonnieviewinnresort and @caitlindunlopphoto for capturing all the vibes. Xo
